Fiesta Themed Wedding

There is nothing better than a color-filled Fiesta themed wedding in San Antonio! We loved photographing Hely and Nick’s wedding downtown at Club Giraud. The intimate ceremony was outdoors right by the San Antonio river. Papel picado swayed above them as they said their vows.  We loved the mix of paper and real flowers in all the arrangements by Uptown Flowers. As night fell and the party started, maracas and sombreros were passed out for all to enjoy. It’s fitting that their exit at the end of the evening involved a San Antonio river boat.

Pops Of Color

It was so fun to photograph all the color involved in this wedding.  Since there were so many bold pops, we used the river as a nice, neutral background.  For bridal party portraits and the bride and groom’s portraits we were able to get a lot of different backgrounds all within a few minutes walking distance from the venue. The river has a lot less tourists on the north side of downtown and has a lot more vegetation.  It was so nice to be able to photograph in a calm, serene area without a lot of extra people.
