The Parish Photography team specializes in Bar Mitzvah photography (and Bat Mitzvahs as well!). We have extensive experience photographing Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. We have traveled throughout the city to different venues to capture these important occasions.

Parish Photography recently photographed a Bar Mitzvah at the Witte Museum Mays Center event space. We worked with the family for many aspects leading up to the event. For example, we photographed the guest of honor, Matthew, beforehand. This provided the family with portraits to use during the celebration on Saturday night. Also, we photographed the welcome party at Matthew’s house on Friday night. After that, we photographed the service at Temple Beth-El on Saturday morning. Following the service, we captured the lunch, which was a great way for family and friends to congratulate Matthew.

Furthermore, that evening, we photographed the grand party at the Witte. The planner, Holly Bessing, did a fantastic job with the decor, including a custom balloon ceiling, beautiful floral arrangements, and many Matthew-related items such as drink sticks and lacrosse decorations.

Additionally, Guests had a great time mingling on the Witte lawn and the teenagers had a blast dancing on the dancefloor with a high energy DJ. We are thankful to Matthew’s family for trusting us to be part of such a special occasion.

Our Promise

For every Bar Mitzvah we photograph, we promise a 3 week turnaround for photos. We know families are excited to relive their momentous day. The photos come in an online gallery that can be shared with guests. Everyone with a link can download any photo for free. In addition to our timely turnaround and online gallery, we also create a dedicated DropBox folder that we keep on file for ten years for your peace of mind.
